Palliative Care
For patients suffering from serious illness or injury, simply being comfortable, intellectually engaged and pain-free can have a positive effect on their physical and emotional well-being. Baptist’s palliative care team focuses on improving quality of life for Baptist patients by reducing suffering from symptoms and stress associated with serious illness.
More than that, the palliative medicine team works with patients and their families to establish goals for care, continuously manage symptoms, support the family and provide spiritual care. Your support of our Palliative Care Fund helps us offer life-affirming resources and programs, such as art and music therapy, and therapeutic supplies for patients while they are in our care.
