Priceless Wishes for Hospice Patients
For many patients with life-limiting illnesses, their wishes are quite simple: attend a family reunion; enjoy a loved one’s birthday; ride a horse; go fishing; learn to play an instrument. Memories like these and time with loved ones can be difficult to arrange for many families, but the time they spend together is priceless. We want to help make these wishes come true.
Through the Priceless Wishes Fund, our team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, aides, bereavement coordinators, and support personnel work closely with each patient and family member, truly getting to know each of them. We find out what's special to them and help uncover their priceless wish. Then, we help the patient's loved ones make arrangements to grant that priceless wish. At Baptist, we know that sometimes it's the little things that often mean the most.
